The Camrose Family Resource Centre Association is a non-profit organization that provides family supports and resources for the community of Camrose and the Counties of Camrose, Flagstaff, and Beaver.
Our focus is to strengthen and empower families, enhance the capacity of parenting, and foster the optimal development of children.
We do this through the implementation and development of community based programming. Through the Resource Centre located in downtown Camrose, we facilitate educational interviews, social programs, and special events.
In April 2020, the Camrose Family Resource Centre was granted a new contract with a hub and spoke model. The Camrose Family Resource Centre was a Parent Link Centre supporting families with children 0-6 years to a newly formed Family Resource Network supporting families with children 0- 18 years of age. The Government of Alberta through the Family and Community Resiliency Division of Alberta Children's Services, wanted to provide a fuller range of services for Alberta families, infants, children and youth, which will now include universal, targeted and early intervention programs.
